Explicit Immutable Truth

You viewing this or any portion of this site is truly an honor to me. Though often faulty in my presentation,
my one desire is to serve you by providing something that will end with your gaining and maintaining a
secure heart. Many have taken on the challenge to present eternal truth in logical form, resulting in the
honest heart being established. Such men for whom I have a profound respect are Ravi Zacharias, Charles
Finney, Watchman Nee and Francis Schaffer. I have made no attempt to duplicate their work but rather
present in layman’s language the eternal truths with which we must all confront, either here or in eternity.

These writings, though recently published, have been in developmental stages for many years. Desiring
what is communicated to be born out of response to truth-experientially proven, consistent with explicit
Scriptural revelation and not simply another treatment of spiritual matters on an intellectual plane,I would
progress a few steps and fall back a couple, thus proving the patience and tenderness of God as well as
His righteous justice. After regaining ground, I would proceed further having God reveal a larger part of me
by revealing more of Himself. Through this entire process I have found God to be very patient and faithful,
even though I have not always been so. The famed Chinese evangelist Watchman Nee, while developing
The Spiritual Man, found himself in this same dilemma. After completing the first of three volumes, Nee set
aside his writing project for approximately three years. His reason: “I lay down my pen chiefly because up
to that time many truths were yet to be written which had not been fully proven in my experience. I would
prefer to learn more before the Lord and prove His truths through experience. What I wrote would then be
spiritual realities instead of mere spiritual theories.” Likewise, it is my attempt to convey absolute truth,
eternal and changeless truth, as opposed to another twist on ‘religious thought’. It is my commitment that,
as with Watchman Nee, what is written can be and has been proven and realized in the personal life.


As previously stated, this work has been in progress for many years. Only now has it taken some form
with which I feel comfortable presenting it to you. It is this writer’s assumption that you will not take my
words nor those of any other writer herein as truth. In time, that would prove to be a grave mistake. If
what is written is nothing more than another person’s take on reality, as opposed to explicit, time-tested
truth, I promise that you will depart empty, possibly angry, and definitely discounting these writings as
those of another deluded fool. I encourage you, I challenge you, however, to be as the Bereans who, ‘after
hearing the apostle Paul speak, went back and searched the Scriptures (O.T.) to see if what he was saying
was true or not’. After all, the New Testament is simply the fulfillment and exposition of the Old Covenant.
This is why those students “went back” to the Old Testament and only then were converted, the New
Testament having yet to be written.

We will not wrestle the Word of God to form some distinctive doctrine; rather, every line of thought that is
explicitly written in the Word of God, will be presented in logical form as an attempt to demonstrate its
affect resulting from choice, adverse or positive, on individuals/society and to some degree manifested in
the arts, science and patterns of social behavior.

Also, you will find a page entitled Heart Thoughts provided by Pastor O. These are weekly devotionals
that have and will provide encouragement to all. Pastor O has been a dear friend for twenty plus years. We
have observed each other's good times and bad times. In each we have found God's grace to be more
than sufficient.

Besides Heart Thoughts, there will appear Discretionary Discourse, an occasional analysis of current
and/or perpetual concerns. The previous Discretionary Discourse will follow the current address serving
